Right, things are starting to warm up a bit, aren’t they? As winter slowly loosens its grip and the first signs of spring appear, the town starts to come alive, and there are loads of events and activities to choose from. I particularly love March because it means spring is just around the corner. The evenings are starting to stretch, and there’s a freshness in the air that makes it perfect for getting out and exploring Windsor Great Park.
If you want to get outside, you can kick off the month with the Windsor & Eton 10km. This is a fun and flat race from Windsor & Eton Brewery (and yes, you do deserve those beers afterwards). There are also some great events at Bray Lake Watersports including their winter SUP race.
For activities inside, we’ve got the final couple of rounds on the Six Nations rugby, so the pubs and breweries will be busy with those. Also, there are some brilliant music and comedy shows at Theatre Royal – it seems like March is a particularly busy month for them with performances throughout the week and weekends.
For families, March offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the town together, from hands-on workshops to outdoor activities that take advantage of the weather.
