What’s On in Windsor in April

by Macca

From terrific theatre to family days out, here’s my guide to all the best events in Windsor this April – there really is something for everyone!

I love April because it feels like a fresh start. The days are longer, the weather is slowly improving, and there’s a sense of excitement in the air that makes getting out and exploring irresistible. Whether I’m going for a walk around Windsor Great Park or seeing the flowers bloom at Savill Gardens, April always offers the perfect mix of entertainment and inspiration.

It’s also the month when seasonal celebrations really take off – Easter events, outdoor activities, and special one-off shows provide plenty of reasons to explore the town. Some of the things to look out for this month are Easter events a Legoland – we have an amazing guide to Legoland if you’re going. There is also an amazing family event at Windsor Racecourse – Neverland; The Peter Pan Light Drone Show. That one’s going to be amazing.

For things to do indoors, April brings a great mix of live music, comedy, and theatre, with Theatre Royal continuing its packed schedule of shows throughout the month. If the weather turns, it’s the perfect excuse to catch a performance or settle into a cosy pub or café around town.

For families, April is a brilliant time to be in Windsor. With the Easter holidays usually falling this month, there are plenty of family-friendly events, activities, and attractions to enjoy together, especially as the days get longer and warmer.

I’d definitely recommend saving this page and coming back to it. I’ll keep it as up to date as possible, so you can dip in whenever you’re looking for ideas throughout April.
