Are you looking for the best breweries in Windsor to sink a few pints? Then make sure these four places are on your list!
I love beer. You love beer. We all love beer. If you’re here, you’re here for one thing – to learn about the best breweries in Windsor.
When I first moved to Windsor, I was pleasantly surprised at how many pubs there were dotted around the town (the answer is 31). I thought “that’ll do me, there are lots of pubs to explore”. That’s before I stumbled upon Windsor & Eton Brewery. Then Two Flints Brewery. Then Indie Rabble. All local breweries, all serving delicious beers.
To the craft beer drinking hipster in me, I had hoppy tears of joy at the thought of three breweries in one smallish town. Now that’s more like it.
Two of the breweries – Two Flints and Indie Rabble – are under the railway arches just moments from the Windsor and Eton train station. Basically, they’re like a mini two-brewery Bermondsey beer mile, just in Windsor.
I’m not going to lie, these breweries have some fantastic beers on tap. From personal favourites such as a DIPA @ X to a smooth ale @ X, there are plenty of beers to choose from. Here’s what to keep an eye out for.
Eton & Windsor Brewery

Founded back in 2010 by four beer-obsessed mates, Windsor & Eton Brewery has single-handedly brought brewing back to Windsor after a gap of nearly 80 years. They kicked things off with Guardsman, a proper British bitter, and followed it up with winners like Knight of the Garter and the award-winning Conqueror. These beers started popping up in local pubs faster than you can say “one more pint, please”.
What I really love is how much they’ve grown while staying properly local. They’ve brewed beers for royal weddings, launched a lager range (hello Republika), and even got themselves a Royal Warrant. Classy, right?
There’s now a massive taproom, events every week, comedy nights, and tours of the brewery too. Plus, they rescued a couple of old Windsor pubs like The Swan and The George Inn, turning them into proper community hubs.
One other thing they’ve created is the Windsor Beer Festival. This is an annual event in July that brings together some of the best breweries in the UK all under one roof. The best thing about this festival is all the beers are mega discounted, so if you’re looking at trying a few different beers from around the country then this is the place to do it.
Whether you’re popping in for a pint or want to try one of their seasonal specials, this place is well worth a visit. Honestly, no “best breweries in Windsor” list would be complete without it.
Two Flints

Tucked under the railway arches near Windsor & Eton train station, Two Flints Breweries modern craft beer at its finest. Sleek, minimalist, and effortlessly cool, this place feels more like Shoreditch than Windsor – but in the best possible way.
The first time I walked in, I knew it was going to be good. The beer list? Banging. From bold, juicy IPAs to crisp lagers and the occasional funky sour, these guys know what they’re doing. One of my personal favourites is their If Only – a hazy, hoppy IPA that’s dangerously drinkable. If that’s on tap when you visit, don’t even hesitate.
They also do regular taproom events, food pop-ups, and limited small-batch brews, which is great if you’re always on the hunt for something new. The space is big, open, and buzzing with good vibes – perfect for an afternoon session or pre-train pint.
What makes Two Flints stand out is the focus on quality and experimentation. It’s clear the brewers here genuinely care about their craft. And yes, it’s under an actual railway arch, which somehow makes the beer taste better.
In short, this is craft beer heaven and an absolute must for any beer lover in Windsor.
Indie Rabble

Directly next door to Twi Flints is Indie Rabble, the new kid on the block. Launched in 2023, this place is vibrant, experimental, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Which is exactly what you want from a brewery, right?
Their taproom is fun, loud, and full of colour. Think neon signs, giant murals, and beer that makes you do a double take. One minute you’re drinking a mango-infused pale ale, the next it’s a chocolate and vanilla stout. It’s a rollercoaster, but one you’ll want to ride again and again.
The beer menu changes often, which keeps things exciting. I had a DIPA there recently that practically knocked my socks off (in a good way). They also collaborate with other breweries and local artists, which adds to the whole creative, community vibe.
It’s a proper craft beer hangout – edgy but welcoming, and the staff really know their stuff. If you like your beer adventurous and your taprooms full of character, Indie Rabble is the place for you.
Grab a flight, pull up a stool, and settle in. You’ll probably be there longer than you planned. I always am.
A Hoppy Place
Just a short walk from Windsor’s main drag, A Hoppy Place is a gem worth dipping into. It’s not a brewery, but it serves up an impressive rotating selection of craft beers.
The real highlight of this place? Their lovely garden out back. It’s the perfect spot to chill with friends when the sun’s out during summer. It’s the type of place where you can slowly make your way through a flight of sours, stouts, or juicy IPAs and watch an afternoon slip by.
Not a brewery, but a definite must-stop for anyone who loves quality beer in a great atmosphere.
