Last Updated:

Looking for the best places to stay on your trip to the historic town? From luxury to budget and boutique, these are the best hotels in Windsor.

If you’re planning a trip to Windsor soon, you’ll find lots of gorgeous accommodation options to choose from. As this is a town with royal connections, you’ll find some stunning luxury abodes – fit for any king or queen! But, while there are some pricey spots, there are also some great options if you’d rather save your pennies for castle entry or food and drink.

All of these are within walking distance of Windsor Castle. After all, if you’re visiting the town, you don’t want to be organising taxis or parking. These are all within a short walk of the sights. Plus, they’re walkable from the two train stations that serve Windsor, so you could easily visit by public transport.

One thing I’d recommend checking, is the parking situation. Most hotels do offer parking, but it comes at an extra cost between £15 – £25 per day. There’s one option on this list with free parking, but believe me, that’s rare in this town!

Coming up, I’ll run through a quick list of top places to stay in Windsor town centre. I’ve grouped them from top-end luxury resorts and boutique hotels, to mid-range and budget options. I hope this guide helps you find the perfect sanctuary for your Windsor adventures.
